Elaine M. Piper, 79 Oshkosh, entered eternal Life with her Lord while at her daughters home in Green Bay, on Thursday, June 8, 2006. Elaine was born on June 18, 1926, a daughter of the late Ervin and Orra Meuler Kargus. She married Arden Piper on June 20, 1946, in Pickett, WI. He preceded her in death on December 30, 1977. Elaine had been employed with Miles Kimball Co, and S.N.C. Company. She was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ. Elaine taught Sunday School, was a member of Daughters of Sarah, and former choir member. Survivors include a daughter, Sandra (Wayne) Gehrke, Green Bay; two grandchildren, Nicole (Mark) Goolsbey, Green Bay, and Rebecca (Jayson) Mossier, Wautoma; 3 great grandchildren, Eain, Ryan Goolsbey, Green Bay, and Brenna Mosier, Wautoma; a son-in-law Curtis Jawort, Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arden; a daughter, Shirley Jawort; and a brother, Carlton Kargus. Funeral services will be held at Emmauuel United Church of Christ on Monday, June 12, 2006 at 11:00 AM with Rev. R. David Gaskill officiating. Family and friends may call at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home on Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Interment will be at Peace Lutheran Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
