Eleanor A Hanson

Eleanor A. Hanson, 96, of Oshkosh, passed away of Friday, February 23, 2007 at Bethel Home. She was born on November 10, 1910 in Oshkosh to Charles F. and Wilhelmina (Diehl) Miller. On March 10, 1937 she married Nolan Hanson in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on November 11, 1966. Eleanor had been employed by Oshkosh BGosh, was a nursing assistant at Park View Health Center, and was a member of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church. Eleanor also was a member of the Eastern Star, the White Shrine of Bethlehem, and the Neighborhood Center at First English Lutheran Church.Survivors include her two sons, Jerry (special friend – Diane Ketner) Hanson, Gary (Elaine) Hanson both of Oshkosh; five grandchildren, Todd, Mindy, Jeremy, Sara, Anne; two great grandchildren, Mallory, Landon; and several nieces and nephews. Along with her husband, Eleanor was preceded in death by her two sisters, Henrietta Tesch and Erna Anderson and a brother Carl Miller.Funeral services for Eleanor will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Noon at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes – Westside with the Rev. Joel Olsen officiating. Family and friends may call at the Lake Pointe Drive funeral home Wed. from 10:00 a.m. to the service time. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to St. Johns Lutheran Church.Eleanors family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Bethel Home.
