Elizabeth Lenore Lenahan

Elizabeth "Lisa" L. Lenahan, 55, of Oshkosh died Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center surrounded by close family. She was born November 21, 1953 in Madison, a daughter of the late John and Delores Lenahan. Lisa grew up in Oshkosh and graduated from Lourdes High School and UW-Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Earlier in her life, Lisa lived in Brunswick, Maine and in the Washington D.C. area. Later in her life, in Oshkosh, she was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish and worked for health information services at Mercy Medical Center. Lisa is survived by her children: Nicholas Richardson, Andrea (Erik) Uppling, and John (Kari) Richardson and their children Tessa and Benjamin Richardson, all from the Chicago area. She is further survived by her siblings: Leigh Lenahan of LaCrosse, Megan Felton of Wauconda, Illinois, and Michael Lenahan of Deland, Florida. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish (St. Mary site- Corner of Merritt Ave. and Monroe St.), the Rev. Jim Jugenheimer officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until the service. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Lisa's memory is being established. Lisa was a loving and selfless mother, grandmother and sister. She will be remembered by family and friends as a person of great faith, a lover of animals and flowers, and as an artist who was able to create beauty in all that she touched.
