Elvise J. Mcdowell

Elvise J. McDowell, age 84, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021, at Mayberry Manor. She was born to the late Clarence and Elizabeth (Phillips) Alverson in Oshkosh on September 13, 1936. Elvise was an animal lover, and she especially loved her two cats - Bumper and Ginger. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and loved music and dancing.
Elvise is survived by her four children, Victor (Laurie Macklin) Hazen, Deb Panske, Harvey McDowell, Joseph (Victoria) McDowell, and; eight grandchildren, Sherrie, Michelle, Jason, Nathan, Guy, Kyle, Nicole and Jeff; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Elvise was preceded in death by her son Randy McDowell; daughter-in-law Robin McDowell; seven siblings, Leslie, Elaine, Joyce, Iris, Juanita, Everett, Iona; and dear companion Mike Schneider.
A visitation for Elvise will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes Westside (100 Lake Pointe Dr.) on Monday, August 23, 2021, from 1PM until 3PM. A private family burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society OR your local animal shelter.
