Enid G. Schrader

Enid G. Schrader, age 94 of Oshkosh, passed away at her residence with her family by her side on November 23, 2021. She was born in Sturgeon Bay on April 4, 1927 to the late Clarence and Ruth (Poppy) Krause. Enid married Harold Schrader on December 23, 1947 and their marriage was blessed with a son and a daughter.
Enid attended Oshkosh High School, she later worked at Heises Bakery. Once her children were born, she became a homemaker and later worked for Anderson Cleaners.
Enid enjoyed ice fishing with her family at their cottage. She was an excellent baker, she loved to experiment with new things while cooking, and making homemade wine. She found joy in gardening, and canning her yearly harvest, as well as tending to her flower beds.
She is lovingly survived by her children: Harold “Hal” Schrader Jr., and Gayle Schrader; granddaughter: April Westphal. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Enid was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Sr. and siblings: Clarence (Rosie) Krause Jr, Elaine Waters, and Eunice “Babe” (Don) Bartells.
A funeral service for Enid will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Dr. with Rev. Joshua Jensen officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be held at Lake View Memorial Park.
