Ervin P. Schultz, 89, of Oshkosh, died Wednesday November 14, 2007 at his residence. He was born May 11, 1918 in the Town of Mecan in Marquette, County a son of Emil and Bertha Emma Sell Schultz. On November 21, 1936 he married Irene Schwanke in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death on September 27, 1989.He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and was a dairy farmer in the Pickett Area until his retirement in 1975. His passion in life was moose, elk, turkey, and bear hunting. His last bear hunt was this past September at his cabin in Tomahawk, Wi. Along with hunting he enjoyed sturgeon spearing and fishing. He loved nature.He is survived by two daughters Dorothy(Leonard) Wright Sr., Gloria(Les) Widner, one brother Alfred Schultz of Borth, one sister Elsie Gallert of Berlin, one sister-in-law June Schwanke of Oshkosh, grandchildren Cindy(John) Duchatschek of Oshkosh, Penny Clark of Oshkosh, Mike Wright of Appleton, Gwen(Dave) Helmer of Oshkosh, Ted Wright of LaCrosse, Jill OBright of Oshkosh, Eric Wright of Oshkosh, Yvonne(Mike) Cartwright of Green Lake, Connie(Wayne) Stadtmueller of Oshkosh, Darrin Rodgers of Montello, step-grandchildren Leonard Wright Jr. of Oshkosh, Larry(Doris) Wright of Omro, Tom(Deloris) Wright of Omro, 18 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Irene, two brothers Edward and Henry, one sister Louise Chaffin, and triplet sisters Augusta Boening, Lillian Hilke, and Emma Mehn.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 20, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church with Rev. Karen Jewell officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday November 19 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside from 4-8 p.m. and on Monday at the church one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Liberty Prairie Cemetery. A memorial has been established.The family extends a special and sincere thank you to the staff from Theda Care at Home for the great compassionate and excellent care given to Ervin to the very end.
