Eugene Paul Kissinger

Eugene P. Jinx Kissinger, 75, of Redgranite died peacefully Friday morning, November 1, 2013, at his residence. Gene was born July 25, 1938, in Neenah the son of Roland and Theresa Kissinger. Gene grew up in Oshkosh and later joined the U. S. Air Force. He had worked for Michels Pipeline (mainly in Upper Michigan), Pirckle Trucking, and he retired from Mercury Marine with 31 years of service. In Genes spare time he liked working in his wood working shop, gardening, making his famous dill pickles, and visiting with his neighbors.Gene is survived by his daughter, Amy Ermer of West Bend; son, Kevin (fiance Gail Trebiatowski) of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Briana and Brayden Kissinger of Oshkosh and Lance Grosskoph of West Band; sister, Helen Mutzie Kuhs of Sun City, AZ; brother, Harold (Ginger) Kissinger of Butte des Morts; mother-in-law, Anna Tischendorf; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Carol Ann Clements, Kathleen Cummings, and Mary Kissinger; and a brother, Roland.A memorial service for Gene will be held Saturday November 9, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, Rev. Bill Van De Kreeke officiating, Visitation will be on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until the service. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Ken Warwick, Bill Beckwith, Candace Krueger, Jim Rogers, and everyone at BLT Tanks in Oklahoma for your friendships through the years, also to Brian Rahn and Jeff Koerner, your kindness will not be forgotten.
