Eva Mary Moore

Eva M. Moore, 90 of Oshkosh, died Saturday January 31, 2009 at her home. She was born in Portage County, WI on October 18, 1918 a daughter of Henry J. and Tressie Martin Walter. On September 1, 1942 she married Leo R. Moore in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on July 27, 1958.Eva was a member of the Wyldewood Baptist Church and had worked in their print shop making Bibles. She had been employed by Standard Kohlsman, and by Mercy Medical Center.She is survived by her sons, Russell (Harriet) Moore of Surprise, AZ and Leo Jr. (Debra) Moore of Sun Lakes, AZ; her daughters, Yvonne (Gary) Boreen of Larson, WI and Patricia Kahler of Peoria, AZ; brother, Henry Walter of Hilbert, WI; sisters Evelyn Weiting of Brillion, WI and Aveneil (Fritz) Jannette of Chilton, WI; seven grandchildren, Becky, JoAnn, Leo R. III, Sara, Amanda, Amy and Jason; and five great grandchildren, Steven, Devin, Shawn, Cory and Drake. She was also preceded in death by a son, Eugene Moore; three sisters, Marie Stewart, Melva Binder and Henrietta Lewallen; and a brother, Gordon Walter.Her funeral will be Thursday February 5, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Wyldewood Baptist Church with the Rev. Randall King officiating. Burial will be in the Bohemian Cemetery in Plainfield, WI. Family and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. A memorial to the church has been established.
