Eva V. Hirte

Eva V. Hirte, 96, of Oshkosh died Wednesday November 2, 2011 at Park View Health Center. She was born September 9, 1915 in the Town of Lind, Waupaca County a daughter of the late Fred and Laura (Zaudke) Zabel. Eva married Walter A. Hirte on Dec. 13, 1931 in Waupaca and he preceded her in death on Oct. 10, 2001. Eva was a member of Grace Ev. Lutheran Church and of the Grace Forever Young Club. Her survivors include a son Donald (Maryann) Hirte of Oshkosh; a daughter Mavis Kramer of Gurnee, IL; sister-in-law Edna Hirte; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons Lester and Robert Hirte, three brothers, and two sisters.A funeral service for Eva will be held Monday Nov. 7, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, Rev. Chadwick Graham officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday at the church from 2 p.m. until the service. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Weyauwega.
