Evelyn Leona McBriar, 90, entered eternal life on February 5, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center. The daughter of the late Frank and Bertha (Gollnick) Kulibert was born March 3, 1918 in Oshkosh. She graduated from Oshkosh High School. She was joined in holy wedlock with George A. McBriar on February 13, 1938 in Auroraville. George preceded her in death on March 5, 2004 after 66 years of marriage. They were blessed with one son and two daughters, eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Carol (Milo) Moran of Oshkosh and son, Steven (Michele) Moran, children, Brady and Mikayla; Mary (Jerry) Braasch of Van Dyne and son, Ken (Ann) Braasch, children Gwynne, Vanessa, daughter Phyllis (Russ) Moss, children, Alex and Rebecca, son Mark (Laura) Braasch, children, Robin and Cassy; Robert (Dianne) McBriar of Appleton and daughter Amy (Kevin) Hermann, daughter Brenda Frank, children, Daniel, Zackariah and Hannah Roever, son-in-law, Josh Powers, children Jacob and Tiffani, and son Scott (Amanda) McBriar, children, Collin and Callie. She is further survived by one sister, Kathleen McBriar, two sisters-in-law, Ethel (Clayton) Stueck and Audrey McBriar and many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was proceeded in death by her husband, parents, brother and sister-in-law Harvey and Jean Kulibert, daughter-in-law, Donna McBriar and granddaughter, Trudi Powers.Evelyn was a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church, Ladies Guild, and a past Sunday School Teacher. She was a past member of the Timber Toppers Square Dance Club and National Square Dance and Camping Club and the Whe-Lin Badger Trailer Club. She enjoyed Bible Class, playing Dominos, going to West Home Makers, camping with family doing crafts and wintering with George in Florida. The funeral service will be on Sunday, February, 8, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Martin Luther Ev. Lutheran Church, 1526 Algoma Blvd, with the Rev. Jeffrey Berg and Rev. Nathan Ericson officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Sunday from 1:00 PM to the time of service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.A memorial has been established
