Florence R Schoshinski

Florence Dobbins Schoshinski passed away October 28, 2005 at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Fond du Lac,WI. She was born July 5, 1916 in Oshkosh, WI. to Max and Clara Kemp Knaak. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Chester Schoshinski, granddaughter, Penny Dobbins and brother, Earl Knaak. Children from her first marriage are: Quinn Dobbins Bursack (Bruce), Terrance Dobbins (Billie), Lee Dobbins, Ty Dobbins (ElaineWachveitl), Kim Dobbins (Jean) and Kerry Dobbins Schumacher (Gary). Her grandchildren are: Brian (Leslie) and Brett Bursack, Keith Dobbins, Beth (Mike) Hinds, Katie (Steve) Roe, Tracey Dobbins, Sherryl (Brian) Pues, Donna (Patrick) Higgins, Tyrone (Amy) Dobbins, Shannon (Brett) Haydin, Colleen (Chad) Holthe, Garth and Shelly Schumacher. She also leaves fourteen great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.Florence was employed at Sears until her retirement. She was a talented pianist, piano teacher and for many years organist at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Oshkosh. She enjoyed doing needlework and ceramics, producing many lovely works which her children and grandchildren treasure.Services for Florence Schoshinski will be held Saturday, November 12, 2005 at Zion Lutheran Church, Van Dyne WI. The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM at the church with the service to begin at 6PM. Burial will be on Monday, November 14, 2005 at Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Oshkosh.The family wishes to thank the second floor nursing staff at Rolling Meadows for the excellent care they gave our mother during her many years there and especially in her last week.The family suggests contributions be made in her memory to the Southeastern Alzheimers Association Wisconsin Chapter, 6130 West National Av., Suite 200, Milwaukee, WI.53214
