Floyd R. Klitzke, 80 of Mesa, AZ, passed away at home on Wednesday, June 11, 2008. He was born September 16, 1927 in Appleton, WI son of William Klitzke and Lena Weigelt. Floyd worked for Riverside Paper Co. in Appleton for 41 years. He was an avid square and round dancer for many years. Floyd loved feeding and watching birds, doing yard work, and making puzzles. He enjoyed most of his retirement in sunny Arizona with his wife.Floyd served in the army during WWII and was awarded a Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Medal Germany.Floyd is survived by his wife, Carol, Mesa, AZ, a brother, Gordon Klitzke of Corpus Christi, TX, and a sister, Marie Heinz of Appleton. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Florence.Floyd has three children: Bonnie Auxier (Al), Neenah, Linda Stichman, Neenah, and David Klitzke, Iowa. Four grandchildren: Brian Auxier (Nicole), Oshkosh, Brad Auxier (fianc?e Amy Nagen), Neenah, Bonnie Petrie, Appleton, and Al Petrie II, Fond du Lac. One great grandson, Logan Auxier, Oshkosh.Dad we will miss your stories and the unusual things about you. Take care of the birds in heaven. The square dancers motto is: Dancers always keep moving and we know you will.God bless you,Your family.Services for Floyd will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Memorial Park - Appleton. Family and friends will be received at Highland Memorial Park from 1:00 p.m. to the service time.
