Frank Lester Blood

Frank L. Blood, 92, of Oshkosh died Saturday February 7, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born Sept. 29, 1916 in Oshkosh a son of the late Calvin P. and Ina Blood. Frank married Ellen H. Lehnigk on Dec. 31, 1949 in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death on Dec. 30, 1992. Frank was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church. He had worked at the Continental in clothes sales and later worked for many years until his retirement at the Hoffmaster Co. as a printer. Frank loved the fine arts and antiques. His survivors include a son Bruce of Oshkosh; a sister Betty (Gordon) Coville of West Bend; a sister-in-law Kathryn Blood; beloved relative Marian Blood; nieces and nephews, Bettys children Linda and Kay, Vivians children Paul, Steven, and Susan, and Gordons son James (Sandra); many great-nieces, great-nephews, and other relatives and friends. A funeral service for Frank will be held Wednesday February 11, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-East, Rev. Rick Hopkins officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Frank was a true family man who lived life to its fullest until the very end.
