Frederick T. Levin, age 65, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 25, 2016 at his home in Oshkosh surrounded by family. Born May 30, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Edward and Catherine (Rowlands) Levin, Rick dedicated his life to his beloved wife of forty years, Judith Cannon, and their children. A proud alumnus of Notre Dame High School (Niles, IL, 69) and John Carroll University (74), he worked over forty years in the commercial insurance industry. During his twenty-three years with Allstate Insurance, Rick lived in Chicago and Dallas before moving to Oshkosh in 1998 when he took a position with Society Insurance in Fond du Lac. Rick enjoyed coaching and watching his children's sporting events, attending his daughter's recitals, and golfing with Judy and his friends. Rick's passion for fishing took him on many adventures, and he loved recounting the stories, a talent that connected him to a wide circle of friends throughout his life.Rick is survived by his wife, Judy, daughter, Alicia (Stephen Skvarenina), daughter, Amy, and son, Tom (Courtney) as well as his brother, Ronald and sister, Jayne (Steele). He was preceded in death by his baby grandson, Edward.Funeral services will be private at St. Raphael the Archangel in Oshkosh. A public memorial service will follow next spring, at which friends, co-workers, and family will gather to celebrate Ricks life.Ricks family would like to thank those who cared for him, in particular Aurora At Home in Oshkosh and Home Helpers of Appleton/Oshkosh.
