Fredrick George Konrad

Fredrick George Konrad, age 90, of Oshkosh, passed away on Tuesday December 12, 2017 at Evergreen. He was born on August 1, 1927 in Oshkosh a son of George and Lillian Japp Konrad. On June 17, 1950 he married Mary Jane Wislinsky. She preceded him in death in 2013.
Fred was a owner/operator and funeral director at Konrad Funeral Home for many years. He was a member of Lakeshore Kiwanis, a 65 year member of Masonic Lodge27 formerly Centennial lodge #205, he sang with “Kingsmen” Choir at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church for many years and was confirmed at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. He enjoyed dancing, bowling, golfing and poker nights and also spending time with his family.
He is survived by four sons Gary(Nancy) Konrad of Oshkosh, Jeff(Gale) Konrad of Weatherford,TX., Mark(Shelly)Konrad of Menasha, Michael(Jeannine) Konrad of Tampa, FL.; two daughters Karen(Mike) DeCaro of Oshkosh, Kate(Mark) Konrad Griesbach of Tallahassee, FL., ten grandchildren Kristi Mueller, Katie(Mike) Swanson, Kevin(Robyn) Konrad, Heather(Dean) Konrad, Justin Konrad, Johnathon Konrad, Joshua Konrad, Cherish Swafford, Thomas Konrad, and Kurtis Konrad 8 great-grandchildren Carlie, Chloe, Briana, Carson, Jane, Ashton, Mya, Fredrick; one sister Laura Bartelt, one sister-in-law Mildred Konrad.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane, his parents and his grandparents Wilhelm and Ottelia Konrad, his brother William Konrad and a brother-in-law Garhard Bartelt
Funeral services for Fred will be on Tuesday December 19, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
