Frieda Paske

November 28, 1915 — November 17, 2010

Frieda Paske is at home with her Lord and living in glory. Frieda, 94, died at Park View Health Center, Oshkosh after a long battle with Alzheimers disease. She was born Nov. 28, 1915 in Sheboygan, the daughter of Fritz and Emily Markgraf. Frieda was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church, Sheboygan and was a graduate of Trinity School and Central High School. As a lifelong member of Trinity, she taught Sunday school and served as the parish librarian for many years. On March 21, 1936 Frieda was united in marriage to Robert Paske, her husband of 66 years. Robert passed away in 2003. Frieda was a loving mother to three daughters Patricia (Al) Barkhau of Huntley, IL, Sandra Howlin who preceded her in death, and Judith Verhulst of Oshkosh. She is further survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, a brother Edwin and family of Scottsdale, AZ, and numerous nieces and nephews. Frieda devoted her years to her extended family and will be fondly remembered for her numerous and on-going knitting projects. Her love of reading was instilled in her daughters. She was a long-time employee of H. C. Prange Co. A private entombment service was held at the Garden Terrace Mausoleum, Sheboygan. A memorial fund has been established in Friedas name at Trinity Lutheran Church and School, Sheboygan and Park View Health Center, Oshkosh. The family would like to thank the staff of Park View Health Center for the love and care given to our mother.
