Gail Alene Hable

Gail Alene (Jackisch) Hable, age 75, of Oshkosh, passed away at her home after a short illness on Monday, June 22, 2015, with her loving husband at her side. She was born on August 27, 1939; daughter of the late August and Della (Geikowsky) Jackisch. She married the love of her life, Thomas Hable, on April 24, 1965 at Peace Lutheran Church of Oshkosh.Gail graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1957, and attended UW-Oshkosh. She spent her career as a secretary at the UW-O Campus School in her earlier years, and retired from Harris Plumbing and Heating in Janesville. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.Gail will be remembered as a sweet, genuine, kind and caring individual with a great sense of humor. Gail loved reading, needle crafts and spending time with family.She is survived by her husband, Tom, daughter, Kelly; and grandson, D.J. Elmer. She is further survived by brothers and sisters-in-law: Larry and Judy Hable, Richard and Bobi Hable, Mark and Linda Hable, all of Oshkosh; Mickie and Bob Rohan of Omro, Danni and David Wyatt of Racine; and Margo Jackisch of Arlington, VA. Also by cousins: Jane Wallman of Appleton, Sue Harris of Oshkosh, Ron and Rita Geikow of Avila Beach, CA; Steve Geikow of Chicago, IL; Steve and Lois Radke of Brookfield, Tom Radke of Beaver Dam, and numerous nieces, nephews and special friend, Joyce Nikolaus of Oshkosh. Gail was preceded in death by her brothers, Philip and David, and sister, Nancy Jackisch.Funeral Service for Gail will be at 6:00 pm on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Konrad-Behlman funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, with Pastor Karen Jewell officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until the time of service. Private interment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the Boys and Girls Club of Oshkosh.
