Garrett Squirrel L. Krause, Sr., age 63, of Omro, died on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was born on December 5, 1947 in New London a son of Orville and Betty (Baxter) Krause. On December 9, 1977 he married Deb Durkee in Oshkosh.Squirrel was a member of Martin Luther Ev. Lutheran Church of Oshkosh, served his country in the US Air Force, had worked at Morgan Doors for many years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball, bowling and the Packers.Survivors include his wife Deb of Omro; his mother Betty Krause of Oshkosh; three sons, Brian (Sarah) Krause, Todd Krause, Garrett II (special friend Jessi) Krause all of Oshkosh; his daughter, Brenda (Terrence) Miller of Oshkosh; three brothers, Orville (Clara) Krause of Oshkosh, Daryl (Mary) Krause of Oshkosh, David (Bev) Krause of North Fond du Lac; a sister, Kathy (Rob) Deubler of Land O Lakes; a brother-in-law, Steve Hill; fourteen grandchildren, Heidi, Nick, Beth, Cody, Katelynn, Kayla, Terrence Jr., Kimmy, Alana, Thomas, Noah, Sierra, Celeste, Ryelen; two grandchildren of the heart, Alyssa and Tyler; one great-granddaughter, Hannah and his godson, Jason. Squirrel was preceded in death by his father Orville and a sister, Karen Hill.Memorial services for Squirrel will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2011 at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home - Westside with the Rev. Jeffrey Berg officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. to the service time. Squirrels family would like to thank the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
