Gary W Lloyd

Gary W. Lloyd was born on December 31, 1952, to Thomas and Mildred Lloyd in Oshkosh, WI. Gary graduated from Oshkosh West High School; he then attended and graduated from St. Coletta of Wisconsin in Madison. Gary moved to Milwaukee and was employed for 15 years at the Pfister Hotel as a dish washer. He enjoyed Milwaukee very much and could go anywhere on the bus system. He moved back to Oshkosh and lived in a group home. He worked at the Granary restaurant for many years. Gary attended St. Andrews church and enjoyed many of their functions. He was well-liked by the congregation.

Gary passed away on November 15, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, sister Marilyn Lloyd, sister-in-law Nancy Lloyd. He is survived by brothers Thomas Lloyd (Diane Kulick) of Neenah, David Lloyd (Max Wightman) of Atlanta, GA, Douglas Lloyd (Cary Russell) of Galveston, TX, a niece Allison Oswald (Andrew) of VA, and many close cousins.

We would like to thank Oshkosh Family and Clarity Care for their over 20 years of service to Gary; he was well-liked by all the staff. We would also like to thank the original owners of the Granary for their kindness to Gary – he was treated like family. We are so proud of what Gary did with the gifts he was given. He will be missed by many.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 29, 2021, at 11:00 am, with visitation 10:00-11:00 am, at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, 402 Waugoo Ave., Oshkosh.
