Georgia M. Pinkerton

Georgia M. Pinkerton, age 84 of Oshkosh, passed peacefully with family by her side on Friday, November 12, 2021. She was born on May 18, 1937 to the late Nyle and Aura (Bradbury) Benedict. Georgia, affectionately known as Jo, married Donald Pinkerton on February 19, 1957 and had four children.

Jo was a homemaker early on in life. After her children were grown, she began working at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh as a payroll specialist. She worked there for 15 years before beginning a new career at the Oshkosh Senior Center as a meal coordinator for the next 10 years.

Jo thrived on quality time with family. She enjoyed watching the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers. She had a love for gardening, baking, butterflies, and pink lipstick. She enjoyed trips to the casino, card nights, playing sheepshead, and gambling.

Jo is survived by her children: Norm (Irena) Pinkerton, Judi Pinkerton, Michael (Amy) Pinkerton, and Bill (April) Pinkerton; grandchildren: Erin (Adam) Ness, Bianca, Cammie, Alexx, Aubrey, Shawn, Brandon, Ethan, Henry, Gavin, and Stella; great-grandchildren: Chelsey, Noah, Destiny, and Tessa; sister-in-law: Dee Benedict. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Jo was preceded in death by her husband Donald; brothers: Donald (Joan) Benedict, and Larry Benedict.

A memorial service for Georgia will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Drive. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
