Gerald "Jerry" A. Smith, 61, of Oshkosh died Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at Northpoint Medical & Rehab. He was born April 22, 1955, in Oshkosh a son of Arthur and Pauline Zuhlke Smith.Jerry had worked at Krause Publications in Iola, WI for many years. He was formerly active in church activities when he lived in the Milwaukee area and enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, and coin collecting.Jerry is survived by a sister, Laurie (Kurt) Holmberg of Apple Valley, MN; a brother, Paul Smith of Omro; and a niece, Paulina Holmberg of Apple Valley, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jamie Smith.A funeral service for Jerry will be held Friday, October 28, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside. Visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.Jerrys family would like to thank the staff at Northpoint Medical & Rehab and Generations Hospice for all the help and care.
