Goldie Hazel Grabner

Goldie H. Grabner, 87, of Oshkosh, died Sunday November 15, 2009 at Bethel Home. She was born on April 25, 1922 a daughter of Walter and Anna Pahlow Rand. On June 22, 1944 she married Edmund Grabner in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on June 4, 1994. She was a secretary for the Oshkosh Public School System, a member of St. Jude the Apostle Parish-Sacred Heart site. She loved doing crafts, reading, exercising, and playing cards. She loved interacting with people and loved spoiling and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by two children Linda Girardi of Washington D.C., Anne (Michael) Palmer of Midlothian, TX, seven grandchildren, Charlotte, Benjamin, Samantha, Andrea, Adam, Eric, Tiffany, her favorite nephew who provided exceptional love, comfort, support Gary(Sue) Rand, special friends Judy Hoger and Mae Manthei. She was preceded in death by three brothers Floyd Rand, Albert Rand, George Rand and two sisters Ruby Bleuer and Ethel Rand.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 17, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Bethel Home Chapel. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. A memorial is being established to Affinity Hospice. The family would like to thank Bethel Home and Affinity Hospice.
