Gordon Leland Trapp

Gordon L. Trapp, age 92, of Oshkosh, died Monday May 13, 2013 at his residence. He was born on November 18, 1920 in the Town of Utica a son of William and Laura Reynolds Trapp. On October 9, 1954 he married Nancy Coe in Oshkosh.Gordon was self employed as a bulk milk hauler and was the first one in Winnebago County. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, bowling, gardening and playing sheepshead at various Senior Centers. He was a member of the Lions Club, Pickett Community Center where he served as a board member. He was a Volunteer Firefighter for the Town of Utica and volunteered for meals on wheels.He is survived by his wife Nancy, two sons Keith(Debbie) Trapp, Mark(significant other Kelley) Trapp, one daughter Patti(Gary) Luckow, four grandchildren Michelle Ramsdell, Christina(Chad) Neumaier, Travis Trapp, Rebecca(Jason) Springborn, two great-grandchildren Jonathon and Alayna, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Wayne, and one brother LeRoy Trapp.Funeral services for Gordon will be held on Friday May 17, 2013 at noon at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside with Rev. Barry Yarbro officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Liberty Prairie Cemetery.A memorial has been established.Gordons family would like to thank the staff of Affinity Hospice for all their care and compassion of Gordon for the last year and a half.
