Harold H. Dekarske

Harold H. DeKarske, age 64, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 7, 2015. He was born on December 14, 1950, the son of the late Edwin and Gertrude (Kraemer) DeKarske. Harold worked for the City of Oshkosh as Zookeeper at Menominee Park, and in the Parks and Forestry Dept. for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, music, reading, and collecting coins.Harold is survived by his sons, Neil (Shaheda Govani) DeKarske of Oshkosh and Ian (Jana) DeKarske of Oconomowoc; mother of his sons, Kathryn DeKarske of Omro; granddaughter, Audrey DeKarske; and brother, Daniel (Kristine) DeKarske. He was preceded in death by his parents.A memorial service for Harold will be held Sunday, April 12, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, Rev. Ralph DiBiasio-Snyder officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the service.
