Harvey P. Dumdie

Harvey P. Dumdie, age 89, of Oshkosh, passed away January 24th, 2017. He was born in Oshkosh on March 22, 1927, to Harvey and Helen (Holtz) Dumdie. He married Donna J. Schaefer on Sept. 20, 1946, and she preceded him in death on Nov. 12, 2001.His life long career was a butcher at Schaefer Meats. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, a veteran of the U. S. Navy during WWII, a member of the Masonic Lodge, and was an avid bowler.Harvey is survived by his son, Carl (Michelle) Dumdie; his daughter, Dorothy (Art) Nico; his sister Lois Juedes; his grandchildren Jodi (Matt) Rammer; Caralee Nico, Jennifer Kramer, Shawn (Jenny) Nico; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Dumdie and Helen Hansen; his sister, Anita Hudson; his brother, Robert Dumdie; and his grandson, Jeremy Dumdie.A funeral service for Harvey will be held Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, Rev. Paul Lidtke officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.Harveys family wishes to thank Sue Bushman and the staff at Affintiy Hospice for all their wonderful care.
