Helen D. Schroeder

Helen D. Schroeder, 85, of Oshkosh died Monday, January 12, 2015, at Evergreen-Creekview North. She was born May 17, 1929 in Oshkosh, a daughter of Berthold and Helen Siegman Meyer. She married Lawrence Schroeder on May 10, 1952. He preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 1976.Helen was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Parish. She had worked for 12 years in the Dietary Services at Evergreen Manor.Helen is survived by her children, Karen Hopp of Oshkosh, Nancy Jo (Dave) Pradovic of LaCrosse, Patti Martens of Green Bay, and James Robert (Maureen) Schroeder of Aurora, IL; grandchildren, Jason Hopp, Jennifer Hopp, Phillip Luther (Dr. Kristin Pappas), Christopher Luther (Christine Johnson), Megan Martens, Emily (Michael) Francois, and Jacob Martens; grand-dog, Buddy Pradovic; great-grandchildren, Oliver, Charlie, Abigail, and one on the way, Jameson. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bert Jr. and William John Meyer; and a son-in-law, Gary Hopp.Private memorial services will be held for Helen with inurnment in Lake View Memorial Park.Helens family wishes to thank the staff at Evergreen for all the wonderful care and help they were given throughout the years.
