Helen I Williams

Helen I. Williams, age 88, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Bethel Home. She was born to the late Jesse and Alma Mason on April 23, 1929, in Oshkosh. She was married to Lauren Day Williams on November 19, 1948, in Oshkosh. She worked as a Secretary for over 29 years at Emmeline Cook Elementary School. She enjoyed ice skating and bowling in her younger years at St. Mary’s, socializing and traveling with her family, playing cards, making puzzles, and going on gambling trips with her husband.
She is survived by her husband, Lauren; son: Brad (Barbara) Williams; grandchildren: Andy (Shannon), and Danny (Katie) Williams; great-grandchildren: Logan, Jonah, Cooper and Cayden; sister: Doris Kramer; nieces and nephews, Pat (Cliff) Schommer, Cindy Mason, Lindy (Dennis) Norkofski, David Mason, Dennis (Debbie) Kramer, Gene (Dot) Mason, Betty Weidemann, Linda Millard; sister-in-law: Cleo Smoot; great nieces and nephews: and special friends: Joyce Lloyd, Larry Zentner and Hans “Juni” Jensen.
She was preceded in death by her infant son Kevin James; her brothers: Kenneth, Harold (Dorothy), and Elwyn “Buster” Mason; nephew: Mike Mason.
A memorial service will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Dr. on Friday, January 19, 2018, at 1:00PM with the Rev. Jason Brennenstuhl officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00AM until the time of service.
