Henry Carl Heidersdorf

Henry C. Bud Heidersdorf passed away peacefully at Parkview Health Center in Oshkosh, WI on Friday, March 2, 2012 with loved ones at his side. He was 87. He was born on November 16, 1924 to Henry W. and Elsie (Reck) Heidersdorf and raised in Somers, Wisconsin on the family farm. He served our country in the Army and was stationed in both Okinawa and Korea during WWII. He was an over the road truck driver most of his life. He lived in Oshkosh for the past 30 years, prior to that Kenosha County and Antigo. He is survived by his children, William (Sue) Lynch, Prairie du Chien; Jane Wilson, Racine; Marie (Jim) Chaussee, Waterford; Carolyn Talbert, Union Grove; Sue Lockhart, Ontonagon, MI; Scott (Diana), Baraga, MI; Beth Ann, Oshkosh; 17 grand-children, 25 great-grand-children and 2 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert, Somers and a sister, Margaret Raffelson, Canyon Country, CA; cousins, nieces, nephews; and special friends Julie (Mark) Beecher and her family, Oshkosh. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Haldine and Lillian Jacobs and an infant daughter Debra. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Fountain Banquet Hall, 8505 Durand Ave. in Sturtevant, WI, commencing at 3:30 with an hour of visitation prior, the Pastor Timothy Stege is officiating. The family would like to thank all of the staff at Parkview Health Center for their kind and compassionate care during his stay there.
