James Dean Walth

James D. Walth, 47, of Oshkosh died unexpectedly, Friday, August 6, 2010. He was born June 16, 1963 in Aberdeen, SD a son of Lawrence and Kathryn (Cleland) Walth. Jim married Sandy Volkman (Weich) on December 23, 1988 in Oshkosh. Jim enjoyed fishing, being with his grandkids, and doing things with his family, especially talking to his dad in South Dakota and being involved in boy scouts with his sons. Jim also enjoyed fixing cars, he always had grease on his hands and a smile on his face. He and his grandchildren shared many laughs and stories together. He is survived by his wife Sandy of Oshkosh; two daughters DNelle (Eddie) Kelley of Florence, WI and Natasha Walth (at home) of Oshkosh; three sons Jason Volkman (girlfriend-Rebeca) of New York, NY, Kyle Walth (girlfriend Chloe) of Oshkosh and Dustin (Megan) Walth of Aberdeen, SD; four grandchildren Caitlyn Kelley, Breyson Kelley, Evan Walth, and Mason Walth; father Lawrence Walth of Aberdeen, SD; mother-in-law Virginia Weich of Oshkosh; a sister Linda Walth of Stratford, SD; and two brothers John Walth and Larry (Tonya) Walth both of Aberdeen, SD. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other family, and many friends. Jim was preceded in death by his mother Kathryn Walth; father-in-law Elmer Weich; grandparents Edward (Rose) Walth and Albert (Hazel) Kenobbie; and grandparents-in-law Morris (Pearl) Gunderson. A memorial service for Jim will be held Wednesday August 11, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Rev. Karen Jewell officiating. Visitation will be held on Wed. at the church from noon until the service. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established through Capital Credit Union, 2495 Jackson St., Oshkosh WI 54901. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
