Janet Elaine Pollack

Janet E. Pollack, 74, of Oshkosh, passed away into eternal life on March 20, 2010. She was born September 30, 1935, in Oshkosh a daughter of Edward and Ida Wischow. She married David L. Pollack on September 17, 1955, and they celebrated 54 years together.She retired from Oshkosh West High School where she was affectionately known as "Ma." She was a lifelong member of First English Lutheran Church. She had many interests especially cooking, gardening, and reading but she enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her granddaughters Megan and Rebecca. She is survived by her husband David, sons Richard, James, and Gene all of Oshkosh, and John (Margie) and their daughters Megan and Rebecca of Greenville, WI. She is further survived by her sister June Heppler of DeForest, WI and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Dorothy Metko, Irving Wischow, Mildred Zillges, Robert Wischow, and Lucille Miller.Funeral services for Janet will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Eastside. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the Waugoo Ave. funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Brooks Cemetery
