Jay Stanley Niemcek

Jay Stanley Niemcek, 70, of Oshkosh succumbed of natural causes.Niemcek, a bachelor, was a retired welder for Oshkosh Truck. He was acar enthusiast, especially partial to Chevrolet Corvettes. His lastwas a 1987 model, his seventh. His hobbies included fishing, both fromhis runabout and from the pier at his Lake Winnebago home. He alsoenjoyed building and operating radio-controlled models, both race carsand planes.Jay Niemcek was born in Milwaukee of the late B. Bernard and the lateAdline Niemcek, and spent most of his youth in Brookfield. He issurvived by two brothers, Bradley of Gays Mills and Wesley of Muskego,and two sisters, Cynthia Beckerleg of Presque Isle and Valerie Davisof Ixonia, and 12 nieces and nephews.At his request, no memorial services will be held
