Jeanette Dorothy Hager

Jeanette D. Hager, 77, of Elburn, Illinois, formerly of Oshkosh, died Tuesday February 3, 2009, after a short illness. She was born September 27, 1931 in Oshkosh the daughter of Fred and Dorothy (Stead) Schmidt. She married Lowell T. Hager on February 3, 1950. Together they made their home in West Chicago, Illinois, where they raised their four children. Jeanette was a 49 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She retired from the Painters District Council in 1989 and enjoyed retirement traveling and spending time with family and friends.Jeanette is survived by her husband Lowell Sr.; her four children, Lowell Jr. (Laura) Hager, Peggy (Del) Domena-Ward, Tim (Cindy) Hager, and Gracie Lueken; five grandchildren, Kristi (Jeff) Mansfield, Jay (Amanda) Hager, Alan (Kay) Hager, Curtis Hager, and Samatha Lueken; her granddaughter-in-law, Phyllis (Doug Baurer) Domena; six great grandchildren, Gabrielle Domena, Spencer Baurer, Katelyn and Jacob Hager, Mabel Hager, and Addison Mansfield; three sisters, Joyce (Ken) Thill, Donna (Jerry) Hawley and Linda Lind; three brothers, Charles (Raedean) Schmidt, Fred (Carol) Schmidt and Daniel (Cindy) Schmidt; two brothers-in-law, Neal (Ivy) Hager and Bill (Mary) Hager; and one sister-in-law, Nancy (Jim) Conradt. Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Dorothy Schmidt; her father in-law and mother in-law, Willard & Grace Hager, a brother, Duane Schmidt; a sister-in-law, Jackie Schmidt; a brother-n-law, Marvin Lind; a son-in-law, Ivan Domena; and a grandson, Bobby Domena. Visitation will be held on Saturday February 7, 2009 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside from 10 a.m. to noon with funeral services immediately following. The Rev. Martin Ruge will officiate Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Park.
