Jeffrey Thomas Brayton

Jeffrey T. Brayton, 68 of Oshkosh, died Wednesday April 14, 2010 at his home. He was born in Oshkosh on February 27, 1942 a son of S. Arthur and Bonnie Flanagan Brayton. On July 20, 1963 he married Macy Weathers in Oshkosh. Jeff had been employed by Rockwell International. He had served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Wyldewood Baptist Church and it was a very big part of his life. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, horseback and motorcycle riding, guitar playing, singing, and his grandkids events. Jeff was a real people person.He is survived by his wife of nearly 47 years, Macy Brayton of Oshkosh; his son, Tom (Kim) Brayton of Pickett, WI; his daughter, Lisa (Scott) Howells of Oshkosh; his mother, Bonnie Brayton of Oshkosh; his grandchildren, Andrea and Marquis Howells both of Oshkosh; five brothers, Bob (Paula) Brayton of Las Vegas, NV, Bill (Roberta) Brayton, Tim (Gina) Brayton, and Don (Lori) Brayton all of Oshkosh, and Ed (Tami) Brayton of Pickett,WI; eight sisters, Anne (Jim) Petri of Oshkosh, Bonnie Droessler of Waterville, OH, Liz (Mike) Haanstad of Spearfish, SD, Jane (Dick) Spanbauer of Oshkosh, Ellen (Steve) Read of Ashland, OR, Cindy Burton of Alton, IL, Kate (Chris) Vorster of Gold Beach, OR, and Bev (Jim) Rousseau of Springdale, AR; many nieces and nephews, and his granddog, Louie. He was preceded in death by his father, Art Brayton.His funeral will be Monday April 19, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Wyldewood Baptist Church with Rev. Randall King officiating. Burial will be in Ellenwood Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service."I'll see you here, there, or in the air."
