Jerald H. Elmer

Jerry Elmer, age 71, passed away unexpectedly at St. Luke’s Hospital on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. Jerry was born in Oshkosh to the late Gordon and Dorothy Elmer on June 9, 1949.

Jerry enjoyed woodworking, reading, and most importantly cherished his family above all else. A strong Christian, he was a member of Martin Luther church. Jerry was a kind soul, caring deeply for all, and believing that all are equal in the eyes of God. He was also blessed with a keen sense of humor. Jerry was a proud teamster, employed by ABF Freight System until his retirement.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Linda; two children: Hope (Michael) Kephart, Heather Elmer; grandchildren: Anastahja Goodnature, Trinity Elmer (Dr. Brett Knudsen), Nolan (Jessica) Kephart, Autumn Kephart, Tess Grunske, and Jackson; and great-grandson, Carlen. Jerry is further survived by his beloved dog, Frosty Paws. He is preceded by parents, Gordon and Dorothy Elmer; brothers, Thomas and Steven Elmer; and sisters: Sandy Arnold, Claire McKay, and Jane Elmer.

A visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 12 at Konrad Behlman funeral home on Waugoo Ave in Oshkosh.
