John James Resheske

John James Resheske, age 94, passed away on Wednesday July 3, 2019 at Evergreen. John was born on December 21, 1924, a son to John and Emily (Wislinsky) Resheske in Neshkoro. He married Mary Agnes Chapin on October 5, 1963 at St. Mary’s in Oshkosh. She preceded him in death on March 28, 2011.
John worked as an automatic lathe operator for Morgan Company for 40 years and was a member of St. Mary’s Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and bowled for the Knights of Columbus for 50 years.
He is survived by his sisters: Jean (Al) Kelsey and Marge Schock; special niece: Peggy (Chris) Bellin and their daughters, Liz and Jenny (Anthony) Winchell, and many other nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his beloved staff and friends at Evergreen who made his life so very special.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary, brothers, Glen (Paula) and Neil (Phyllis) Resheske; sister, Mary E Resheske and brother-in-law, Charles (Dick) Schock.
A funeral service for John will be held on Wednesday July 10, 2019 at Evergreen (1130 N. Westfield St.) at 4PM with Father Jerry Pastors and Chaplain Steve Woods officiating. A visitation will take place from 3PM until the time of service at Evergreen. Interment will take place at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Evergreen Foundation- Employee Appreciation Fund.
