John T. Zellmer

John Jack T. Zellmer, age 77, of Oshkosh, died Friday October 26, 2012 at his residence. He was born on April 18, 1935 in Oshkosh a son of John and Marie Sharkey Zellmer. On May 10, 1969 he married Sandra Binder in Oshkosh at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.He was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, had worked at Rockwell International and enjoyed golf, hunting, going to the cabin up north, woodcutting and coaching youth basketball and baseball.He is survived by his wife Sandra, his son Thomas(Lisa) Zellmer, two grandchildren Lanie Zellmer, Drew Zellmer, two brothers Gary(Marie) Zellmer of Tucson, AZ., David(Jill) Zellmer of Fond du Lac, four sisters Nancy Pearce, Mary Rausch, Kay Otto all of Green Valley, AZ., and Gail Bartel of Neenah.He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Joan Kennedy.Funeral services for Jack will be held on Tuesday October 30, 2012 at 6 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside with Rev. Thomas Haverly officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Park where military honors will be performed.A memorial has been established. The family would like to thank Affinity Hospice and Jacks caregivers Dan and Lisa.
