John W. (J.W.) Schulz, 75 of Oshkosh, died early Friday morning October 9, 2009 at his home. He was born in Oshkosh on February 21, 1934 son of Edward and Meta Engel Schulz. On April 20, 1961 he married Beverly Euclide in Oshkosh.John is survived by his wife, Beverly Schulz; two sons, John W. (Tonya) Schulz II, and Thomas E. (Michelle) Schulz all of Oshkosh; daughter, Valerie Hawkins of Colorado; granddaughter, Nicole (Andy) Root of Minneapolis, MN; two brothers Robert (Connie) Schulz, and Karl (Patricia) Schulz both of Oshkosh; sister, Marjorie Johnson of Colorado; brother/in/law, Lindy (Carla) Euclide of Hilbert, WI; a sister/in/law, Majorie Schulz of Appleton; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dan Schulz; two sisters, Phyllis Schulz and Mildred Nugent; and a son, Mark. John was a lifetime member of the Otter Street Fishing Club, an avid Badger, Packer, and Brewer fan, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was an avid reader. He had a great sense of humor.His memorial service will be Saturday October 24, 2009 at 3:00 PM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside with Chaplain Dan Edwards officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Affinity VNA hospice for all of their loving and compassionate care given to John; thank you, Crystal, Cheryl, Ross, Barb and Chaplain Dan.
