John Wayne Wilson

John W. Wilson, 66, of Oshkosh, died at his home on Sunday, July 8, 2012 after a five week battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was born on March 15, 1946 in Lohrville the son of John and Teresa Leone Wilson. John married Carol Moldenhauer on July 6, 1968 in Berlin.John was a 1964 Berlin High School graduate and a U. S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, Oshkosh. John retired from barbering after 35 years. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and going to McDonalds for coffee and crosswords. The true love of his life was his faith and his family.Survivors include his wife, Carol of Oshkosh; parents, John and Teresa Wilson of Oshkosh; sons, David (Lori) Wilson and Daniel (Friend - Anne) Wilson both of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Kandice Haley, Joshua, MacCahla, Hanna, Samantha, Blake, and Olivia Wilson; great grandchildren Mason and Antonio Haley; and brother, James (Jane) Wilson of Berlin. The funeral will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church (913 Nebraska St.) with the Rev. Jeffrey Duquaine officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Thursday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Inurnment will be in Bush Cemetery, Berlin WI.
