Joyce Dorothy Lemke

Joyce Dorothy Lemke, 84, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 21, 2018. She was born October 9, 1934, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Walter “Pat” and Dorothy (Dumke) Lemke. Joyce worked as an assistant manager for Miles Kimball for over 40 years until her retirement in 1996. She was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church for many years and helped teach Sunday school. Joyce would spend most of her time with her sister, Janet. The two were an inseparable pair! Joyce was a member of the 54 club, which was a group of high school friends that would get together every month to go out to eat. Joyce enjoyed making ceramics in her free time.
Joyce is survived by her sister, Janet Lemke; a niece, Patricia Lemke; a very special friend from childhood, Barbara Meton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a step-brother, Jack (Kay) Lemke, and an aunt, Margaret Dumke.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 370 Bowen Street, Oshkosh, with Rev. Ron Meier officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 2:00 p.m. Saturday until the time of the service. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery
