Kara Domasky

Kara E. Domasky, 40 of Oshkosh, an inspiration to all who knew her, succumbed quietly after six years with cancer at her home on Saturday June 24, 2006. She was born in Oshkosh on March 8, 1966 the daughter of Raymond and Phyllis Nolte Hitz. On May 27, 1989 she married Mark Domasky at the Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Oshkosh.Kara had been employed as a first grade teacher at the Riverside School in Fond du Lac, WI. She had been a lifelong member of the Emmanuel United Church of Christ and had been a Sunday School teacher and member of the Chime Choir. She was an avid spectator for all of the things that her sons were involved in. She had earned her Masters in Education from the Aurora College.Kara is survived by her husband, Mark Domasky of Oshkosh, her sons, Bradley and Benjamin Domasky, her sister, Kim (Michael) Winter of Winneconne, her parents, Raymond and Phyllis Hitz of Oshkosh, her aunts, Margaret (Larry) Yoder of Oshkosh, Gayle Gumz-Mowry of Phippsburg, ME, and Jackie Nolte of Kewaunee, WI, her uncle, Richard (Mary) Hitz of Oshkosh, her niece, Carley Winter and nephew, Devin Winter, both of Winneconne, her father/in/law, David (Marlene) Domasky of Kewaskum, WI, her mother/in/law, Laura Domasky of San Jacinto, CA, her brother/in/law, Scott (Janine) Prost-Domasky of St. Louis, MO, special friends, Norb and Lucy Trebiatowski and family of Oshkosh, and by cousins and many friends.Her funeral service will be Wednesday June 28, 2006 at 7:00 PM at the Emmanuel United Church of Christ with the Rev. R. David Gaskill officiating. Burial will be in the Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until the time of the service. A memorial has been established.
