Karyn Arlene Gunderson, age 52, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2014. She was born October 1, 1961 in Milwaukee. Karyn was very artistic, ambitious and determined. She loved spending time with family, especially her two daughters. She enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. She also played piano. She enjoyed drawing and photography, especially outdoor scenes. She was very active throughout her whole life in the Lutheran church and was most recently active with Grace Lutheran Church. She graduated from Winnebago Lutheran Academy High School in Fond du Lac. She pursued her college degree at UW-Oshkosh, received a Bachelors degree in Business Administration in 1989, and received multiple scholastic awards.Karyn is survived by her daughters, Stephanie (Alejandro) Becerra and Erica (William) Peters; three grandchildren, Analaya, Westley and Lucas; her mother, Arlene (Robert) Kosanke; one brother, Col. Scott (Mary Lou) Bleichwehl; one stepbrother, Stephen Miller; one sister, Judy (Timothy) Johnston; three stepsisters, Kathi Metko, Leslie Nason and Janel Nast.Karyn was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Ralph and Edithglen Bleichwehl.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Jeff Duquaine officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
