Kathleen Jean Toll

April 1, 1947 — February 22, 2022

Kathleen “Kathy” J. Toll was reunited with her beloved Ken in Heaven on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. Kathy was born April 1, 1947 in Fond du Lac to the late Paul and Helen (Shady) Redman. Kathy grew up in Oakfield, she attended Oakfield High School. Kathy married the love of her life, Ken Toll in 1985.

Kathy was known for her hard work, she spent her working career in manufacturing industry, the last 30 years at Brickham Stamping as a machinist in Oshkosh. She loved working along side and supported Ken in his business ventures, building and improving their home, and working their K&K Honey tent at the Farmers Market, selling the best honey and produce. One of her passions was her gardens around her home, she spent hours planting, pruning, tending to the many flowers and fruit trees planted around their country property.  Kathy was a canner, she was not afraid to try new recipes and share them with others.  Kathy and Ken loved being outdoors, on most nice evenings you could find them out on their patio enjoying the birds and wildlife, going to great effort to make sure they had food, always including the neighborhood cats.  Kathy also looked forward to and enjoyed big family gatherings, she would celebrate her family in her labors of love by preparing large meals, making sure to include everyone’s favorite, and she would present those gifts on a beautifully decorated table. Talking and laughing around that dining table was a time of real connection and has turned into a legacy for her children and grandchildren to remember and honor.

Kathy leaves behind special memories including fishing with her children. Kathy would get home from work, pack sandwiches and meet Ken and the kids out at their favorite fishing spot.  Her last days were spent with her children around her, as she worked hard to finish her journey to Heaven. She leaves heartbroken her son : Paul (Pam) DeLap of Oshkosh, daughters: Penny (Gary) Gunkel of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Tammy (Greg) Iversen of Neenah, Teresa (James) Moore, Radcliff , Kentucy, Tina (Robert) Conboy , San Antonia,Texas; grandchildren: Laura, Emily, Benjamin, Kendall, Stephen, Austin, Keegan, Grayson, Danielle, Dana, Joshua, Shaina, Kala, Ema, Cameron, Caitlyn; great grandchildren: Haiden, Lilianna, Julius, Rian, Kingston; siblings: Delores Krueger of Fond du Lac, Don (Tommie) Redman of Jacksonville, AR; sisters-in-law: Lorraine (Bob) Evans of Valders, Nancy Toll of Beaver Dam; best friends: Brenda Marks, Mary Lou Broyles and numerous nieces and nephews. Kathy received the gift of Chloe, her beloved “baby” Shih tzu. Chloe was her daily dose of love and affection and supported Kathy through the loss of Ken. Chloe became her loyal companion and looked after Kathy the rest of her life.  Kathy was further preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Toll and her parents.
