Kathy Lynn Hunter

Kathy L. Hunter, 62, of Oshkosh, died at her home on Sunday, December 18, 2011. She was born in Oshkosh on May 15, 1949 the daughter of Harvey and Ellen Books Befus. Kathy married David L. Hunter on October 14, 1967 in Oshkosh.She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and enjoyed being a homemaker and loved spending time with her family.Kathy is survived by her loving husband David, of Oshkosh; son, Tod (Marylou) Hunter of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Jennah and Evan Hunter; sister, Sandra Kobs of Winneconne; brother-in-law, Dr. Garland (Roxanne) Hunter of Laona; sister-in-law, Deborah Hunter of Arlington, TX. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her faithful companion, Brandy. She was preceded in death by her parents.The Hunter family would like to thank Rev. Mark Wilkens for his visits during the time Kathy was homebound, and also a thanks to Affinity Visiting Nurses, Hospice Services for the care she received from them. They would also would like to thank Kathys best friend, Sue Haffeman - Lang for the support she gave Kathy. The funeral service will be on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (370 Bowen St.) with the Rev. Mark Wilkens officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Thursday from Noon to 1:00 PM. Entombment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.A memorial will be established in Kathys name.
