Kevin Jon Keene

Kevin J. Keene, 54, of Oshkosh died Tuesday January 2, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center. He was born January 15, 1958 in Oshkosh a son of G. Kenneth and Dolores (Luft) Keene. Kevin was a 1976 graduate of Oshkosh West High School and got a degree in Radio & TV at UW-Oshkosh. He had a passion for cooking and worked at many restaurants in the Oshkosh area including Ninos Steakhouse, Oshkosh Elks Club as manager, Planeview Truck Stop-until it was sold, Jukebox Charlies as kitchen manager-until they closed, and now worked at Newhaven Inc. (Oakwood Manor and Arbor View Manor) as a cook and server. He was always interested in anything historical, especially movies, cars, and airplanes. Kevin is survived by his parents, G. Kenneth and Dolores Keene of Oshkosh; a brother, Brian Keene of Oshkosh; uncle and aunt, Norm and Arlyss Luft; cousins, Tom and Tim Luft and families; and other relatives and friends. A memorial service for Kevin will be held Monday January 7, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, Rev. Andi Wolf officiating. Visitation will be held Monday at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the service. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
