Larry Robert Ulrich

Larry R. Ulrich, 66, died Tuesday December 14, 2010 at Aurora Medical Center. Larry was born on December 1, 1944 in Oshkosh to the late Edwin and Charlotte Fisher Ulrich. He married Cynthia Thornton on July 24, 1964 in Oshkosh. Larry worked at Mercury Marine for 40 years. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He loved doing his woodworking, crafts, gardening, baking but most of all his trips in his pontoon with his family and friends.He is survived by his wife Cindy, his children Chris(Don) Boelter, Kim(Jeff) Morasch, Cheryl(Bill) Merkel, grandchildren Cathy Morasch, Robert Morasch, Candi(Mike) Galligan, Heather Boelter, Nikki Boelter, Cory Merkel, Miranda Merkel, Sherri(Josh) Wendt, great-grandchildren Conner Galligan, Michaela Galligan, Carter Boelter, Xavier Wendt, Destiny Wendt, three sisters Marge Fredrick, Mary Scheer, Barbara(Jerry) Clark, Nancy(Tom) Kubasta, brothers-in-law Tom(Colleen) Thornton, Pat(Kay) Thornton, Tim Thornton, special aunt and uncle Dick and Cyndi Neitzel, many nieces, nephews, friends, special neighbors and his long time companion Abby.He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers-in-law Ted Fredrick, Floyd Scheer, mother-in-law and father-in-law.Funeral services for Larry will be held on Saturday December 18, 2010 at 10 a.m.at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Nancy Krueger officiating. Visitation will be Friday December 17, 2010 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Eastside from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery. A memorial has been established.The family would like to thank the staff at Aurora Medical Center especially Carrie in the ICU.
