Laura Gay Richert

Laura “YaYa” G. Richert, age 63, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. She was born on September 28, 1954 in Oak Hill, WV to Roy and Jane (Reed) Crawford.
Laura graduated from high school and went on to study at Truman College.
She worked as an in home care giver. Laura enjoyed crocheting, looking after and spending time with her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her children: Teri, Tonya and Ernest Richert; grandchildren: Brittany Schneider, Kristian and Madison Postl and Courtney Fritz; mother: Jane Perry; nieces and nephews: Michelle Blevins, Kenneth Blevins, Robert Ward, Cheryl (Joel) Ward-Buehner; and great nieces and nephews: Jason Blevins, Michael Blevins, Jordan Blevins, Joel Buehner, Charlotte Buehner, Elliott Buehner and Jayla Sable.
Laura was preceded in death by her father; and sisters: Darlene Ward and Sophie Blevins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 24th, 2018, at the Oshkosh Town Hall from 3-5pm.
