LaVerne L. Priest, age 82, of Oshkosh, died Monday January 3, 2011 at Evergreen Retirement Community-Creekview. She was born April 6, 1928 in Dodge County a daughter of Arthur and Lillie Franke Kollman. On June 14, 1947 she married Wesley Priest in Lomira. He preceded her in death on February 13, 2006.She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and enjoyed crafts, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.She is survived by her daughter Hope Boivin of Neenah, two grandchildren Kevin(Holli) Boivin of Plainfield, IL, Dawn(Shawn) Balsitis of Ripon, three great-grandchildren Paige Boivin, Alisha Balstis, Jessica Balsitis, one brother Gene(Sharon) Kollman of Oakfield, one sister Elaine Kollman of Fond du Lac, one sister-in-law Bernice of South Dakota. She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother Ronald and one son-in-law Harold Joe Boivin.Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 6, 2011 at noon at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside with Rev. Paul Lidtke officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Entombment will be at Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac.A memorial has been established.The family would like to thank the staff at Evergreen Retirement Community, Heartland Hospice, and Rev. Paul Lidtke for all his care and concern.
