Leola Fraker Kitz

Leola F. Kitz, 88, of Oshkosh, died on Friday, April 25, 2008 at Evergreen Retirement Community. Leola was born on September 15, 1919 in Wild Rose the daughter of Otto and Helena Fraker Stanke. She married Robert Kitz on October 21, 1938 in Oshkosh. Robert preceded her in death on May 16, 2006.Mrs. Kitz was a member of St. Johns Ev. Lutheran Church; the church Alter Guild; Oriental Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 16; Bethel Shrine #2, White Shrine of Jerusalem; Mercy Medical Center Auxiliary; and the 20th Centaury Club. For 25 years Leola worked at the New American Bank in the Safe Deposit Department retiring in 1981.Survivors include one son, William (Lea) Kitz of Oshkosh, one daughter, Susan Kimball of Neenah; six grandchildren, Todd (Tammy) Kimball, Terry (Theresa) Kimball, Laura Kimball, Rachel, Helena, and Stephanie Kitz; five great grandchildren, Shonna, Criselle, Joelin, Breanne, and Haley; and three great great grandchildren, Lileth, Morgan, and Shane.Leola was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, May Reno; three brothers, Clifford, Lyman, and Jarvis Stanke, and one son-in-law, Phillip Kimball.The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Eastside) with the Rev. Ted Johanson officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial has been established.
