Lester Paul Herrmann

Lester P. Herrmann, 88 formerly of Chicago, died peacefully at home with family at his side on Thursday October 1, 2009. He was the beloved husband of the late Veronica Rucinski Herrmann; loved Dad and friend of Lorraine (the late Raymond, Sr.) Kalfas, Thomas (Margaret) Wojtowicz and Walter (the late Enid) Wojtowicz. He was also grandpa, great grandpa, and great great grandpa to many; and uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Ida Herrmann; siblings, Richard, Charles, Lillian, Margaret and LeRoy.His funeral service will be on Sunday October 4, 2009 at 3:30 PM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home - Westside. A time of visitation will precede the funeral from Noon until the service. Cremation and private burial will follow in the Town of Maine Cemetery in Park Ridge, IL. Sincere thanks to the Affinity Visiting Nurses, staff, aides and ministry for their support and loving tender care. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the Affinity Visiting Nurses Hospice.
