Lila A. Reckner

Lila A. Reckner, age 88, of Oshkosh died at her home on Sunday, January 15, 2012. Lila was born in Stratford, Wisconsin on June 17, 1923 a daughter of the late Edwin and Ethel Zeidler Augustine.Lila was a member of River Valley Church. She enjoyed going to the Lutheran Social Services Day Center at the Oshkosh Senior Center. She loved to play cards, bingo and writing short stories and poetry.Lila is survived by three sons, Alan Reckner, Glen Reckner and Frederick Reckner and one brother, Marvin Augustine of Stratford.Lila will be missed by her Foster family of 13 years. Ruth, Matthew and Abagail Blankenship, Ellen Radke and Megan Nick, and other extended family members.Funeral services will be held at River Valley Church (1131 High Ave.) on Thursday January 19, 2012 at 6:00 PM with Pastor Neil Wilson officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 4:00 PM to the time of service. Interment will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Stratford, WI.
